The Nigerian Press Council has condoled with the Management and entire staff of Leadership Newspaper over the dead of its publisher, Mr Sam Nda-Isaiah.
The Executive Secretary of NPC, Mr Francis Ndubuisi Nwosu in a letter of condolence signed by him and made available to News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Abuja expressed sadness over the demise of Nda-Isaiah.
“We at the NPC are deeply touched by a man who brought his vast experience to bear on journalism practice in Nigeria.
“He was not only a reputed pharmacist but also a resourceful media entrepreneur and renowned columnist.
“The media shall, for a very long time, feel the huge vacuum created by the passage of this prolific writer who until his demise was the Patron of International Press Institute and an ex-official of the Newspaper Properitor’s Asociation of Nigeria,” Nwoso said.
He stressed that NPC share in this moment of grief with the Leadership Newspaper.
“We commiserate with with members of his immediate family, the board, management and entire staff of Leadership Newspaper”. (NAN)
