OHANEZE NDIGBO FCT CHAPTER UNCOMPROMISING STAND AGAINST CORRUPTION HIGHLY RECOMMENDABLE

AND THE GENERAL SECRETARY, MR. MARCEL EZENWA IHEME, AS WELL
AS THE VICE PRESIDENT (DELTA STATE), MR. IFEANYI MIKE ODITTA AND
THE VICE WOMEN LEADER, HON. CHINYERE EZENWOKIKE-OFFOR FOR COMPLICITY
Rising from the first general meeting of 2025 held on Saturday, 22nd February, 2025 at the usual meeting venue at Abuja; the FCT Chapter of Ohanaeze Ndigbo comprising leaders and members from the seven core states of Ohaneze, which are Abia, Anambra, Delta, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo and Rivers states; the following resolutions were passed: –
1. That the President, Barr. Ifeanyichukwu Obasi Nweze (a.k.a. Mmuo) – Ebonyi State; the General Secretary, Mr. Marcel Ezenwa Iheme – Imo State; the Vice
President, Mr. Ifeanyi Mike Odittah – Delta State; and the Vice Women Leader- Anambra State, Hon. Chinyere Ezenwokike Offor; are impeached as a result of numerous corrupt practices including conspiracies, stealing, cyberstalking, defamation of character, misappropriation of funds, refusal to render account and false representation among other things.
2. That the Deputy President, Hon. Ken Nnamadi – Enugu State, shall remain the Acting President until Ebonyi State people present another person that shall complete the tenure of the impeached president. The same goes to Imo State for General Secretary, Delta State for Vice President and Anambra State for Vice Women Leader.
3. That the Expanded Executive Council comprising the Chairmen, Secretaries and other statutory officials of Igbo Community Assembly (ICA), Women Wing, Youth Wing and Central Exco shall conduct transparent election for the replacement of the impeached officials in line with the Constitution/Bye Laws of Ohaneze Ndigbo FCT Chapter.
4. That all relevant stakeholders and bodies shall be communicated with the impeachment development with immediate effect.
Grounds for Impeachment
The following were the grounds for the impeachment of the President, Barr. Ifeanyichukwu Obasi Nweze (a.k.a. Mmuo) – Ebonyi State; the General Secretary, Mr. Marcel Ezenwa Iheme – Imo State; the Vice President, Mr. Ifeanyi Mike Odittah – Delta State; and the Vice Women Leader, Hon. Chinyere Ezenwokike Offor – Anambra State; at the First 2025 General Meeting of Ohaneze Ndigbo FCT Chapter held in Abuja on 22nd February, 2025:
1. Failure to convene proper meeting and render financial account since 2024 Igbo Day / Colloquium held on Sunday,  29th September, 2024.
2. Failure to release the money saved by members purposely for December 2024 / Christmas celebration.
3. Secretly and unlawfully withdrew and misappropriated over Fifteen Million Naira (N15,000,000) belonging to the entire members of Ohaneze Ndigbo and sharing same among themselves.
4. Intimidating, cyberstalking, defaming, threatening and exiting members who dare to ask questions or demand for accountability or presentation of financial account from the platform.
5. Fragrant disobedience of our Elder Statesman and Chairman of the Elders Council of Ohaneze Ndigbo FCT Chapter, Sir Dr. Mike M. Okiro, CFR, who severally requested that they should call for general meeting and present transparent financial account to members.
6. Failure to release the sum of Thirty Million Naira (N30,000,000) donated to the Women Wing of Ohaneze Ndigbo FCT Chapter by a well known philanthropist, Prince Engr. Arthur Eze, OFR, Ozoigbondu since 29th September, 2024 and threatening to kill the Women Leader, Chief Mrs. Gladys Okoro – Abia State, if she dare confront or take up the matter against them.
7. Failure to release the sum of Twenty Million Naira (N20,000,000) and other monies donated to the General Body of Ohaneze Ndigbo FCT Chapter by Prince Engr. Arthur Eze, OFR, Ozoigbondu, Chief Tagbo Ike, SAN and other donors since 29th September, 2024.
8. Failure to refund money owed to members that sponsored the “Thank You Visit” to Prince Engr. Arthur Eze, OFR, Ozoigbondu but were quick to be withdrawing money secretly and be sharing among themselves.
9. Issuing bank checks running into millions Naira to themselves and none numerous members of Ohaneze Ndigbo FCT Chapter without consulting and respecting other leaders and members.
10. Fraudulently collecting Three Thousand Naira (#3,000) from over 200 people before issuing them bank checks of account on Lien/PND.
11. Barr. Ifeanyichukwu Obasi Nweze in particular sent a malicious petition to the Presidency, Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), against the Youth Leader, Engr. Prosper Okafor – Anambra State, in order to sack him from work simply because the Youth Leader demanded for transparent financial account presentation and refund of his savings and other entitlements.
12. Creation of illegal WhatsApp platform causing division in Ohaneze Ndigbo FCT Chapter and using some stooges to be causing unnecessary issues instead of presenting financial account and returning of all money stolen from Ohaneze Cooperative Account.
13. Threatening to imprison Hon. Chinyere Ezenwokike Offor for supporting the idea of putting Lien/PND on our bank account and protesting against issuance of bank checks to none members.
14. Barr. Ifeanyichukwu Obasi Nweze in particular went to court in Nasarawa State to secure “Court Order” to remove the Lien/PND placed on our account in order to enable him unlawfully finish the remaining money in our account.
15. Barr. Ifeanyichukwu Obasi Nweze in particular used one Dr. Suleman Yahaya to invite the Youth Leader, Ozo Akunwafor Engr. Prosper Okafor for “peace talk” but failed to adhere to the peaceful advise of our Elder Statesman, Sir. Dr. Mike Okiro, CFR; Chief Austin Ifedinezi, Exco Members of FCT Ohaneze Ndigbo, Leaders of Youth Wing of Ohaneze, Mrs. Ezinne Ufele and many others.
