Founder of the Lead Generation Initiative (LGI), Mr Shina Peller, says the organisation is set to empower youths across the country with entrepreneurship skills and access to justice through effective collaborations.
Peller made this known at the LGI Global Media Conference and Partnership Event on Friday in Abuja.
He stressed that the LGI would partner with ‘Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs’ (A.Y.E) and ‘Call A Lawyer NG’ to achieve its mandate on youth empowerment and provision of access to justice for the youths.
Peller explained that in cultivating a new generation of socio-politically conscious leaders, driving positive change in Nigeria, LGI have conducted the ‘Get Involved Leadership Training’ programmes across various states.
“The programmes empowered numerous participants. They include 420 individuals from Oyo State, 394 from Osun, 254 from Bauchi State, 326 from Niger, 227 from Kwara, and 138 from Gombe State.
“We prioritize engaging like-minded members who have attained higher education and are gainfully employed. We partnered with the ‘WE2GEDA Initiative’ to engage and hold the regional summits in all the six geopolitical zones.
“More so, after months of internal evaluation, the Board and Management of LGI is delighted, committed and set to engage young Nigerians to become active citizens in their communities.
“To achieve the strategic objectives of this new phase, we are partnering with A.Y.E. for empowering young Nigerians, and ‘Call a Lawyer’ as we push for access to justice in Nigeria.
“With A.Y.E. we shall be having entrepreneurship support initiatives that will empower our members with startup supports to enable them become financially independent. This is among other internal opportunities that we will be providing for our members, like virtually training sessions.
“Also, our partnership with ‘Call A Lawyer NG’ aims to empower young Nigerians by removing legal barriers that impede their civic participation, business growth, and personal development.
“Together, we will enhance access to legal representation, educate citizens on their rights, and advocate for a fair legal system,” he said.
Peller who is also the Chairman of Board of Trustees of LGI said the Initiative has also restructured the regional leadership, adding that it has appointed 12 regional coordinators.
He added that the goal of the initiative is to ensure inclusivity, strengthen community presence, and engage members’ community for proactive community leadership.
“These critical actions are all geared towards our shared future, even as we unveil the LGI 2025 Strategic Roadmap, with the LGI Regional Leadership Summits at the core of it. The summit is designed to take place across the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria.

Speaking on behalf of the partners, President of A.Y.E, Dr Summy Smart, represented by It’s Relations Manager, Ms Atuzie Favour Tuzzi, said the A.Y.E is an ecosystem that has over 25,000 entrepreneurs in 20 countries in Africa.
She expressed commitment and readiness of A.Y.E. and others to work with LGI and create better impacts for Nigeria and the world at large.
