An inferno has destroyed several shops and properties at a popular market in Ibadan.

The fire was said to have started at about 11:00 pm on Friday night at Araromi market where tyres, engine and cars materials were destroyed.

The cause of the inferno is yet to be ascertained at the time of filing this report.
