FG invalidates provisional offer of allocation to NHP subscribers

The Federal Government says it has invalidated the letter of provisional offer of allocation of housing units to subscribers of  the National Housing Programme (NHP).

 

The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Mr Mamuda Mamman made this known in a statement on Saturday in Abuja.

 

“The invalidity affects the First Batch of Provisional Offers of Allocation issued on Dec. 10, 2021 which had 90 days validity period that elapsed on March 10, 2022.

 

“It is up to the last Batch (14th Batch) issued on July 18, 2023 which also has a validity period of 90 days that elapsed on Oct. 18, 2023.

 

“The Ministry is currently in the process of revising the conditions and procedures of sales of the houses and will publicise same in due course when concluded.

 

By this information, Mamman said all interested subscribers who were yet to pay for the houses offered to them were given a grace time to Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023 to make their payment. (NAN)
