Eggon Cultural and Development Association ( ECDA) Worldwide, has urged Muslim faithful and other Nigerians to continue to embrace unity, peace, love and tolerance for the overall development of the country.
Mr Mandy David Abuluya, the ECDA President made the call in Nassarawa Eggon LGA today in a statement he signed and made available to newsmen on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.
Abuluya, who is the Proprietor, Nacabs Polytechnic Akwanga, Nasarawa State congratulated Eggon Muslims and other Muslim faithfuls on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.
He urged Muslim faithful to continue to uphold the lessons learnt during the Ramadan period for the overall development of the state and country at large.
According to him, Muslim faithful must continually exhibit lessons learnt from Ramadan.
” On behalf of myself, family and the entire Eggon nation, I wish to congratulate our Muslim brothers and sisters on the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.
” I want to use this medium to call on the people of Eggon nation and other Nigerians to use the Eid-el-Fitr to continue to embrace unity, peace, love, patience and tolerance for the overall development of the country.
” As the importance of unity and peace to societal development could not be overemphasized.
” As peace is the necessary requirement for the development of any society,” he said.
Abuluya, who is also the Chairman, Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Nasarawa State also called on well to-do- individuals to assist the poor and other less privileged ones in the society.
” This is to improve on their standard of living and give them a sense of belonging in the society,” he added
He urged the people of Eggon nation and other Nigerians to continue to pray and support leaders at all levels to succeed.
