The President, Eggon Cultural and Development Association ( ECDA) Worldwide, Mr Mandy David Abuluya, has called on all sons and daughters of Akun Chiefdom and other people to support the new Aren Akun, Dr James Angbazo to succeed.
The ECDA President made the call while speaking with newsmen when Dr James Angbazo paid Homage to Aren Eggon, Justice Sidi Bage ( Rtd) in his palace today in Nassarawa Eggon LGA.
Abuluya said that every leader needs the support of his people to succeed, hence the need of his call in that direction.
” We are here on solidarity as our father and new Aren Akun, Dr James Angbazo paid homage to Aren Eggon, Paramount Ruler of Eggon nation, Justice Ahmed Ubangari Alaku ( rtd).
” I want to thank Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State and our royal father, the Aren Eggon among other stakeholders for their prayers and support to ensure the selection and approval of Dr James Angbazo as new Aren Akun,” he said
Abuluya, who is the Proprietor, Nacabs Polytechnic Akwanga assured the new Aren Akun of his determination to collaborate with him to promote unity and peace in the chiefdom.
On his part, the Aren Eggon, Justice Ahmed Ubangari Alaku (rtd), appreciated the new Aren Akun for the visit and pledged his readiness to work with the new Aren Akun, other tradtional rulers and stakeholders for overall development of Eggon nation
The Aren Eggon called on Eggon and other people to continue to live in unity and peace for the overall development of the state
Earlier, the New Aren Akun of Akun Chiefdom, Dr James Angbazo appreciated Gov. Abdullahi Sule, Aren Eggon and other stakeholders for their prayers and support for making his dream of becoming Aren Akun a reality.
He pledged not to fail while discharging his duties.
The Aren Akun also assured of his commitment to promote unity and peace in his domain and the state at large.
