Dr Bala Angbazo, the Aren Eggon and paramount ruler of the Eggon people is dead.
Dr. James Angbazo, Dangaladima Eggon confirmed the development on Wednesday in Lafia.
James Angbazo the first born of the deceased said that the monarch, 89, died in the early hours of Wednesday, July 13 after a prolonged illness, and after 41 years on the seeming endless throne.
The paramount ruler was born at Wakama District of Nassarawa-Eggon Local Government Area of the state in 1933.
He ascended the throne on July 11, 1981.
