ECDA President, Abuluya bags Garkuwan Matasa of Northern Nigeria award

Northern Youth Organization of Nigeria( NYON), has conferred Garkuwan Matasa Arewa ( Northern Nigeria) award on Mr Mandy David Abuluya, the President, Eggon Cultural and Development Association ( ECDA) Worldwide for his positively contribution to the development of the education sector and Northern Nigeria.

Dr Isah Ododo, the National President of NYON presented the award to Abuluya today in Akwanga LGA of Nasarawa State.

Ododo said that the award conferred on Abuluya was based on his positive contribution to the development of the education sector and Northern Nigeria at large.

” Sir, this award is conferred on you based on your contribution to the contribution of the education sector and Northern Nigeria at large.

” We have travelled across the Northern Nigeria to assess individuals, who have contributed positively to the development of Northern Nigeria.

” Our findings revealed that you have done a lot to the development of the education sector and Northern Nigeria at large

” This award titled : Confirmation of Credence to Mr Mandy David Abuluya as Garkuwan Matasa Area/ Vanguard of Good Leadership and Epitome of Hope in appreciation of your contribution to development of the society , ” he, said

The president said that Abuluya is making them proud for touching on the lives of the people positively.

He prayed God to bless Abuluya abundantly

Responding, Mr Mandy David Abuluya, the ECDA President said that the award would spur him to do more towards improving on the standard of living of the Northern Nigeria and Nigeria at large.

” Today, I am overwhelmed as this award will spur me to do more towards initiating good policies and programmes that will have direct bearing on the lives of Nigerians.

” I have contributed a lot to the development of the youths, widows, less privileged ones among others, ” he said.

Abuluya, a Proprietor, Nacabs Polytechnic Akwanga, Nasarawa State disclosed that he has established the polytechnic in order to contribute his quota to the development of the education sector.

” I have started this school with N750 in the year 2000 in order to provide quality and sound education to our children, ” hee said

Abuluya pledged his commitment to continue to provide sound and quality education to the society.

” As no society will achieve speedy development without sound and quality education, ” he said.

Abuluya, who is the Chairman, Police Community Public Relations ( PCRC) Nasarawa State said that more than 80 per cent of his students were on scholarship.

He urged the officials of the association to keep on with the good work they are doing for Northern Nigeria.

The ECDA president also urged the association and other youths to continue to be law abiding, respect constituted authorities, remain united and peaceful at all times.
