A non-governmental organisation, Community Change Initiative, CCI, doled out food items such as Rice, Beans, Vegetable Oil and other foods items to vulnerable women in a FCT Community as part of its program “Giving in the spirit of Ramadan”.
The distribution event held at Phase 2, by Elephant Gate, Jikwoyi, Abuja, FCT. Food items were given to dozens of women in the community.
Community Change Initiative, CCI, is a non-governmental organization, NGO, which has been putting smiles on the faces of the less privileges and championing the
cause of the less privileged in our society.
The objectives of the organization amongst other is to initiate and carry out poverty alleviation programs, providing succour to the downtrodden in our society.
To promote education, health, social status of women, children and youths in all communities in Nigeria, and to build bridge of friendship and harmonious co-existence of people; To create a society where there will be an equal opportunity irrespective of gender, class, religion and social status.
Dr. Aisha Shettima Smith, the Founder and President of the organization, an accomplished and distinguished Nigerian and a Philanthropist.
In the Founder’s words, to her “Charity is away of life and giving and putting smiles on people’s face gives her joy”.

In the same note the organization also carried out the same program, in Keffi where food items were distributed to the less privileged in the society.
The event was coordinated by Hajiya Hauwa Gidado Community Change Initiative Coordinator Nasarawa State and Balarabe Musa, the National Secretary, Community Change Initiative.
