The former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Mr. Damishi Luka Barau died after a protracted illness.
Mr. Damishi Luka Barau served as the Deputy Governor under Senator Umar Tanko Almakura, the then Governor of the State’ first tenure.
A family member said that the deceased was born in April 1964, left behind a wife and 5 children.
